The other day I decided to reorganize my linen closet as it was a
mess. Everything was sorted but I could never find what I was looking for. So I did what I always do when I’m searching for answers, I Googled it and I learned the most amazing thing. You take your flat sheet and fold it, take your fitted sheet and fold it and then put the two together. You lay one pillowcase on top and put the whole set into the other matching pillow case. How could I have gone all these years without knowing this?! Now my closet is perfectly organized.
I bet if I peeked into your kitchen cabinets I would find at least one plastic bowl that has been stained by spaghetti sauce. It happens to
the best of us and typically isn’t a big deal but if you happen to have a
‘favorite’ bowl and you desperately want to get the orange out, I know an easy fix. Set it in the sun for a few days. I was very apprehensive about trying this but did and it worked. I guess the sun has amazing powers.
SPF 50 Shirts
I’m sure you’ve seen kids at the pool or beach with shirts on in the water. Stores are selling SPF 50 Swimming Shirts for boys and girls that
prevent the sun from getting through and causing a burn. These shirts do something else too. During our first few trips to the pool Will would step out of the pool with his teeth chattering as he was freezing. I bought him one of these shirts thinking that maybe it would hold in body heat and I was right, he was not cold with the shirt on. So if you have little ones who get cold easily in the water, an SPF 50 shirt is just what you need. (They even sell these at Wal-Mart!)
I’m very proud to announce that I have officially found my first
geocache. The problem is, I wasn’t looking for one. But don’t worry, I didn’t touch it or open it or anything – although I really want to. It’s been in the same spot for around three weeks. How long should it be in the same place? If anyone has experience with these things please let me know if there is anything I should do. I don’t want to ruin the game but if it’s lost or something I’d like to return it to whomever it belongs to.
That’s it for today; let me know if you have an amazing tip you
would like to share.
