If you are a big fan of Mike & Ike’s candy then I’m sure you have noticed the difference in packaging as the Mike is crossed off on the new packages. It seems Mike & Ike have called it quits after all these
years. They’ve been together since 1940.
Mike wants to pursue a career in music and Ike wants to get into the art scene. The company is trying to get them back together and they have all sorts of fun games and prizes too. Check out their web site at; http://www.justborn.com/mike-and-ike/power-up/arcade you can even ‘spin to win’ an instant prize (over and over!) There is also a T-shirt decorating contest or you can buy Mike & Ike’s in vintage packaging. Something fun for a change.
For all my fellow Supernatural watchers I have made some recent
discoveries that have me quite pleased. TNT is now showing reruns and a channel called CW is broadcasting the new shows. Also it looks like the release date for season seven is 9-18 and you can preorder the complete set of DVD’s from Wal-Mart for $40.96 or (if you scroll down) on Blu-Ray for $48.96. That price is way cheaper than what Warner Brothers is offering it for. http://www.walmart.com/search/search-ng.do?search_query=Supernatural+Season+7 Season 8 begins on October 3rd.
If you want to watch episodes online for free, check out the ap. provided by CW http://www.cwtv.com/thecw/apps (Susan, you may want to check this out.)

An off-duty lifeguard in Oregon saved the life of a 12-year-old boy who was struggling to stay afloat in the ocean. An ambulance arrived and
took the man (who was suffering from a headache) and the boy he saved to the hospital. The man figured going to the hospital was procedure after such an occurrence. Two weeks later the man received a bill for $2,600 for the ambulance ride and doctor fees. He is making arrangements to pay the bill.
This guy is a dam hero and I hope some Good Samaritan steps forward and pay’s the bill for him. I realize saving a life is rewarding but paying a huge bill for it isn’t fair. The last thing we need is people thinking about ‘if’' they can afford to save someone’s life. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/lifeguard-gets-2-600-bill-rescuing-boy-surf-130832240.html
Have a great day friends! If I can find the strength I just might get up and dressed today.
