To our friends across the pond we are officially jealous today. Typically your food choices don’t impress us much but today we wish we were in the UK. For you lucky ducks Pizza Hut has unveiled the unimaginable, hotdog stuffed crust pizza! And that’s not all…..wait for it…with a free mustard drizzle! We’ve never heard of a mustard drizzle but we want one now. We are assuming they are test marketing this in your land and not ours to see how many of you drop over dead from clogged arteries. We are the land of the obese and home of the overweight, Pizza Hut must fear lawsuits if they push us over the
edge. Please do us a favor and eat this pizza and tell us all about it, our mouths are watering just thinking about it. (Uncle Randy….screw the steaks next year, were going to have this pizza for Easter from now on if it makes it to the states, it can be a new tradition. )
I haven’t said anything about the Trevon Martin case because I’m still on the fence. At first when I saw the pictures and heard the news stories I believed Zimmerman was guilty. But when I learned that the pictures the media had posted were five years old, I began to rethink things. In this day and age you have to be very careful of what you say and how you say it or people will twist your words around and make you sound racist even if you are just trying to voice your opinion. So for now I’m not going to say anything, but I did find George Zimmerman’s new web page and I thought you might be interested in seeing it.
A week ago I found a matchbook lying on my living room floor. No one in my house uses matches, who does anymore? On the cover is “Bally’s Saloon,
Gambling Hall and Hotel in Robinsonville, MS. I’ve never been there and neither has my husband. This matchbook is a complete mystery and where it came from has been driving me crazy. And no, there is no phone number written on the inside. How does a match book just show up like that? What does this mean? Did someone sneak into our house and accidently drop them? If so they didn’t steal anything.
I find this very eerie.
Yesterday I started writing a third book, this time a comedy. I have the sequel for a Complicated Life started, I am mid-way through a novel on a different topic and now I have started this one. Talk about multi-tasking. I just can’t seem to focus on one thing right now. My mind is alive with ideas and I think it’s important to write them all down. I need to be more disciplined and focused on the task at hand which would be the sequel, but I am struggling. (Big
sigh) So I must go now and WRITE.
Have a great day!
